Bangtan Boys launched the "Good Morning America's" 2019 Summer Concert Series on Wednesday morning and many of their fans – known as ARMY – camped in the rain for days to catch the group.  "Thanks for the wait of the day (in rain, cold, everything)," said the member of the band RM.
These feelings were translated by bandmate V, who said to the crowd, "Our fans are the best, we encourage you to love you ARMY!"
And when the day of the outbreak New York storm, a seven-member stage took the stage and the park was packed.
The group – Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook – has beaten the Beatles record with three Billboard number one albums a year.
"I mean, we're all fanboys of (The) Beatles, of course, who are not," said RM. "We're really honoring to be with the greatest names in the music industry ̵
BTS was formed in 2013, taking their name from the Bangtan Sonyeondan Korean expression, which mostly translates into "bulletproof boy scouts."
In 2017, as their profile grew to English-speaking audiences, the group declared they were moving the meaning of the acronym to "Beyond the Scene."
They last played the 2019 Billboard Music Awards with their new single, "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey.
